There's a good reason cottage cheese very popular in the bodybuilding community.
Per 100g serving, cottage cheese contains 11g of protein and only 4.3g of fat. Using the method below, you can make a batch at the start of the week and keep it in the fridge.
This recipe makes for an easy and healthy post-gym snack. Dip carrot and celery sticks in, you can also spread this over brown granary toasted English muffins, and serve with turkey breast and lettuce.
- Plain cottage cheese
- 1tbsp chopped gherkins
- Half an onion, chopped
- 1tsp of chopped chives
- 1tsp of English mustard
- Sprinkle of celery salt
- Simply mix all the ingredients together in a Pyrex bowl
- To store, cover bowl with cling film and keep in the fridge
- Aim to eat within 2 days.
